Open office - Q&A on Machine Learning

A live, hour-long Q&A with our senior trainers, Ed Schofield and Rob Layton, to answer your questions about machine learning in Python. Bring a tricky problem from work, ask which tool to learn next, or just listen in while we work through other attendees' questions. Beginners and experienced practitioners both welcome.

Prerequisites

For anyone interested in machine learning with Python from beginner to experienced. You'll get more out of the session if you have a specific question or problem in mind.

Expected Outcomes

This is a group Q&A session for questions ranging from beginner to advanced. Whether we point you in the right direction for your next project, help you get unstuck on a problem, or show you which tool to learn next, we hope to answer your questions.

Free form Q&A session with participants bringing their own questions and projects for discussion.

Other information

Format:

Q&A session. You don't need a coding setup, but having Python ready locally lets you share your screen if you want hands-on help with a specific problem.

Computer:

Hardware: a webcam and headset mic or quiet room 

Software: a modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, or Safari (not IE or Edge); or Zoom.

Timing:

60 minutes online. Join 5 minutes early to test audio.

Materials:

No materials are required for this course, but we recommend you have some ability to take notes as recordings will not be made available.
